Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking motivated individuals to join the leisure services team and supervise pool facilities with lifeguard duties. An RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential, and candidates should have experience in leisure and customer services.

Successful candidates will work across a rota pattern including mornings, evenings, and weekends on an as-needed basis, contributing to a friendly and inclusive workplace that values safety and community wellbeing.

Qualifications

• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is an essential requirement for the post.
• Candidates should be able to supervise and control designated public activity areas.
• Relevant experience in a leisure and customer services environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of the facilities, including pool lifeguard duties.
• Assist with safety management and incident response as part of a duty rota.
• Work across a rota pattern that includes morning, evening and weekend shifts on an as-and-when-required basis.
