Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough is seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to join our team on a flexible, as-and-when-required basis. You will support the kitchen by keeping areas clean, receiving deliveries, and maintaining stock in a fast-paced environment.

No experience is required; a great attitude and love for teamwork will be welcomed, and we will show you the ropes. Join us to help ensure a smooth, efficient kitchen operation and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and compactor.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock.
• Empty and maintain refuse area.
• Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.

We are on the hunt for a Casual Kitchen Porter to join our team. No experience? No problem! If you have a great attitude a a love for teamwork, we'll show you the ropes.

What You Will Do

As our new Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and compactor
