Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring casual Food Service Assistants to support King’s School Rochester. You will assist with food preparation and serving, maintain cleanliness and safety, and help deliver excellent customer service in a busy school catering operation.

The roles offer varied shifts with a focus on hygiene, safety and high standards. DBS checks and pre-employment screening may be required.

• Ensure food service areas are safe, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Monitor health and safety, food safety and temperature records.
• Support colleagues across catering areas to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Salary: £12.60 / £12.71 age dependent

About the Role

As a Casual Food Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
