Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a General Kitchen Assistant for Oasis Academy Hadley in Enfield. The role supports daily food service, including preparation, serving and cleanliness in a busy, hygienic environment.

Working pattern is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:30pm, 27.5 hours per week. Term Time Only (39 weeks), Permanent, Part Time. Training provided and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.

• Replenish food displays and service counters as required.
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.

About the Role

As a General Kitchen Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you'll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You'll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Additional Information

Term Time Only - Equated Pay
This role works 39 weeks per year.Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
