Job summary

Sodexo in Rochester is seeking two Casual Food Kitchen Assistants for a fixed-term role to support the day-to-day running of a busy school catering operation. You will assist with food preparation, serving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

You will work as part of a supportive team, delivering great service while upholding hygiene and safety regulations. Training is provided and DBS checks apply where required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering, hospitality or customer service environment.
• A positive, proactive and hands-on approach to work.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety.
• A reliable, self-motivated and hardworking attitude.Flexibility and a willingness to support different areas of the catering operation when required.
• A passion for delivering a high-quality service and creating a positive experience for every customer.

About the Role
