Job summary

Gravesham Borough Council is recruiting three casual staff for the Woodville theatre's food and beverage team, covering the Spotlites Café and Kent Room Bar. You will greet visitors, assist with seating and safety, sell merchandise, and clear the venue after events. Hours are casual and fitted to the business's needs.

Applicants should have Level 2 English and maths and customer service experience. Training and Local Government Pension Scheme are provided.

Qualifications

• English and maths Level 2

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment

Skills & knowledge

• Ability to work on own initiative to resolve issues
• Working knowledge of IT packages
• Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, confident disposition

Nice to have

• Proven experience in a similar position
• Customer care or customer service qualification
• Knowledge of the arts and entertainment industry
