Job summary

Wentworth Club Limited is seeking a part-time casual Food & Beverage assistant to welcome members and guests, delivering exceptional service across the F&B department. You will assist in daily service, bar work and events under the guidance of the F&B Manager, maintaining cleanliness and safety at all times.

The role requires a friendly, proactive team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to work across the F&B department including bar, dining and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily food service and bar work.
• Deliver table service and assist with functions under the F&B Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all service areas.
• Present a professional and timely appearance.
• Respond to member queries with courtesy.

JOB PURPOSE:

Part-time Casual Work

To be responsible for ensuring our Members receive a warm and friendly welcome and any queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. You will be expected to deliver exceptional service to both Club Members and guests alike, keeping good cleanliness, and health & safety at the front of all you do. We will rely on you to wow our Members and make them feel special by delivering exceptional service and being a great team player. As a Food & Beverage assistant, you will work across all areas of our F&B department, responsible for daily food service, working on the bar, and offering table service, as well as the running of functions, under the guidance of our Food & Beverage Manager.

KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY

• Ensure excellent knowledge of all menu offerings and be able to deliver and provide all Members and guests with exceptional service.
• Always deal with the Members and guests in a polite, pleasant, and professional manner.
• Ensure that you constantly present yourself on time and are correctly dressed for duty.
• Carry out any reasonable request, as made by management.
• Ensure that all services areas are ready for operation at the correct time.
• Constant overview of the daily operation to include, but not limited to, cleanliness, food and beverage product, service delivery, clearing tables, and sufficient mise-en-place.
• Resolve any complaints in a polite and professional manner and ensure that the Outlet Manager is notified.
• Attend pre-shift, department, and general meetings, as required.
• Attend any training sessions as judged reasonably necessary by management.
