Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Assistant to join our premium golf and country club in Reading. You will set up tables and event spaces, greet guests, serve food and drinks, assist in bar and Barista duties, and help deliver memorable guest experiences for Members and guests.

This role operates across 0600–2300, with varied shifts including weekends and events. Previous customer-facing experience is desirable; food safety certification desirable.

• Previous experience in a customer facing role desirable
• Food safety certification and/or HACCP certified is desirable
• An excellent standard of presentation is essential

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor, you will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service and quality. As a Food & Beverage ( F&B ) Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up tables and event spaces, greeting and serving guests, delivering food and drinks promptly, maintaining well-stocked bar areas, upselling offerings, clearing and cleaning tables, ensuring money handling procedures are followed, and flexibly assisting in various front-of-house areas, including full bar and Barista duties. • We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300
• Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays
