Wentworth Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver exceptional service to Members and guests across all F&B areas. You will assist with daily service, bar duties, and running functions under the F&B Manager, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health & safety.

The role requires a warm, professional approach, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to the changing demands of a luxury club environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly welcome to Members and guests and handle queries professionally
• Deliver daily food service, work on the bar, and provide table service as part of F&B operations
• Assist with running functions under the guidance of the F&B Manager
• Maintain cleanliness and health & safety across service areas
• Attend pre-shift and department meetings; participate in training as required
• Ensure timely readiness of all service areas and mise-en-place
• Resolve guest complaints politely and promptly and inform Outlet Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

To be responsible for ensuring our Members receive a warm and friendly welcome and any queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. You will be expected to deliver exceptional service to both Club Members and guests alike, keeping good cleanliness, and health & safety at the front of all you do.
We will rely on you to wow our Members and make them feel special by delivering exceptional service and being a great team player. As a Food & Beverage assistant, you will work across all areas of our F&B department, responsible for daily food service, working on the bar, and offering table service, as well as the running of functions, under the guidance of our Food & Beverage Manager.

KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY

• Ensure excellent knowledge of all menu offerings and be able to deliver and provide all Members and guests with exceptional service.
• Always deal with the Members and guests in a polite, pleasant, and professional manner.
• Ensure that you constantly present yourself on time and are correctly dressed for duty.
• Carry out any reasonable request, as made by management.
• Ensure that all services areas are ready for operation at the correct time.
• Constant overview of the daily operation to include, but not limited to, cleanliness, food and beverage product, service delivery, clearing tables, and sufficient mise-en-place.
• Resolve any complaints in a polite and professional manner and ensure that the Outlet Manager is notified.
• Attend pre-shift, department, and general meetings, as required.
• Attend any training sessions as judged reasonably necessary by management.
