Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is seeking a Relief Environmental Operative 1 to join the Glanyrafon Depot in Aberystwyth on a casual basis. The role involves frontline waste collection tasks including loading and emptying bins, and street cleaning activities.

Applicants should be capable of outdoor work in all weather conditions and able to work as part of a team or lone worker as needed. The position offers pro-rata salary and development opportunities within the Highways and

Qualifications

• Experience of physical / manual work.
• Experience of working in a team environment.
• Experience of lone working.

Responsibilities

• Load refuse and recycling materials onto vehicles as required.
• Empty litter bins.
• Carry out the physical activities required – including lifting, sweeping, stretching and bending.
• Work outside in all weathers.
