Nursery: The Learning Tree Nursery School, 2A Carlisle Road, Romford, Essex, RM1 2QP

Hours: Casual, variable hours, Monday - Friday, Full Time and Part Time

Salary: Up to £14.05 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience

About you

You are a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar, seeking a role that offers flexibility around your commitments.

You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children and are passionate about shaping the future generations.

You possess a natural, nurturing, warm, and positive outlook, and care about learning and education standards in the UK.

What you'll be doing

You’ll help provide cover for children as needed, during holidays, sickness, or vacancies, either for full days or just mornings or afternoons.

Most days will start with a plan, but flexibility and adaptability are essential as circumstances change.

Creativity is key—activities include arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games, all within EYFS standards but with room for your creative flair.

What you'll need

• A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification in early years.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator or working with children under 5 is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.
