Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30 (Days)

What Will You Work On?

Perform clerical duties related to patient/resident care, including:

• Prioritizing, processing, coordinating, and transcribing physicians’ orders;
• Acting as a communication link for the Unit;
• Scheduling, booking, and coordinating patient/resident appointments;
• Assembling and maintaining patient/resident charts, inputting data, and transcribing information into systems like MARS, Kardex, Careplan, charts, or electronic health records;
• Clerical tasks such as keyboarding, data entry, filing, compiling statistics, preparing reports, delivering and picking up items, maintaining supply levels, and recording meeting minutes;
• Maintaining timekeeping records for staff and submitting them to payroll;
• Monitoring patient/resident call signals and relaying messages appropriately.

Application Requirements:

• A recent 5-minute typing test (40+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months.
• Nursing Unit Clerk Certificate.
• Resume outlining two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Cover Letter indicating your availability for start date, on-call, and casual work (specify days of the week).
