Job summary

Hotel Indigo K West Shepherd’s Bush is seeking a Casual Bartender to craft exceptional beverages and deliver memorable moments for every guest. You’ll mix classics and house specials, engage guests with confidence, and set the tone for a vibrant bar experience.

Bring energy, style, and a guest‑focused mindset; you’ll manage stock, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with restaurant and events teams to ensure smooth service across the venue. All applicants must have UK work rights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cocktail bartender in a hotel, bar, or lifestyle venue.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails and spirits.
• Confidence in guest interaction and upselling.
• Experience with stock control and bar hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 23kg and be on your feet for long shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Understanding of compliance with local alcohol service laws.

• Create the vibe: Welcome guests warmly, recommend cocktails, highlight promotions, and set the tone for a relaxed and memorable experience.
• Own your space: Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organised; manage stock levels and equipment; and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Stay sharp: Handle transactions, process payments, and maintain accuracy and accountability throughout your shift.
• Be a team player: Work closely with the restaurant and events teams to support food service and ensure smooth guest experiences throughout the venue.
