Job summary

Lancashire Cricket Club is seeking friendly, customer-focused Casual Bar Staff to join Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. You’ll work across a busy venue delivering welcoming service during a range of events.

You’ll handle bar prep, serve food and drinks, process payments, and help maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Flexible shifts across evenings and weekends offer great part-time opportunities.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Bar Staff to join our team at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the team delivering great hospitality experiences across a busy and exciting venue. You’ll work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, helping us provide efficient, welcoming service and ensuring everyone who visits has a positive experience.

As part of our casual team, you’ll have the flexibility to work across a variety of events while developing your hospitality skills and gaining experience at one of Manchester’s most iconic sporting and events venues.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Providing friendly, efficient service and ensuring guests receive a consistently high standard of care.
  • Preparing the bar and service areas ahead of events, making sure everything is ready for guests.
  • Serving food and drinks accurately and responsibly, in line with licensing requirements and Club policies.
  • Processing payments and following the correct cash-handling procedures.
  • Keeping bar, service and guest areas clean, tidy and well presented throughout your shift.
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages, maintenance issues or other concerns to the relevant manager.
  • Working closely with colleagues to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
  • Following all food hygiene, health and safety, fire safety and other relevant Club procedures.
  • Handling guest queries or concerns professionally and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Supporting the wider team with other duties as required to help deliver a successful event.
