Job summary

Thornbury Castle Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our dedicated 5* team. You will lead planned maintenance across the castle site, manage on-site facilities, and ensure safety compliance, including health & safety checks and fire and emergency procedures.

This hands-on role requires coordinating with Front Office and Housekeeping, supervising a small maintenance team, and liaising with external contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing maintenance in a hotel or similar setting.
• Proven ability to plan and execute preventive maintenance
• Strong health & safety knowledge and incident response experience
• Ability to supervise a small team and coordinate with contractors
• Familiarity with building facilities and compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance tasks across the hotel site.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Undertake Duty Manager responsibilities as required.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with external contractors and internal departments.
