Job summary

Rolls-Royce, based at the High Temperature Research Centre (HTRC) in Ansty, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer – Casting Technical Specialist. You will lead research and improvement for single crystal investment casting, interfacing with domestic foundries and suppliers to deliver world-class manufacturing capability.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified.
• Strong understanding of single crystal investment casting manufacturing capability.
• Technical capability based on practical knowledge and experience.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing engineering and component engineering principles.
• Knowledge of turbine components and/or investment casting processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive best practice and continuous improvement across the HTRC and with suppliers, customers and partners.
• Support and liaise with operational teams to ensure safe, reliable equipment and processes.
• Build and maintain links with Rolls-Royce engineering teams to scope projects at HTRC for continuous improvement.
