Job summary

Rolls-Royce’s Ansty site is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Casting Technical Specialist to drive equipment and process improvements at the HTRC. You will collaborate with domestic foundries and suppliers to deliver world-class single crystal investment casting capabilities.

Qualifications

Degree qualified with knowledge of single crystal investment casting.
Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering and component engineering.
Demonstrated technical capability from practical experience.
Sound knowledge of turbine components and investment casting processes.
Strong skills in problem solving, project management, change control, risk management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

Account for equipment and process methods used at the HTRC.
Drive best practice and continuous improvement across the HTRC and with suppliers.
Support and liaise with operational teams to ensure safe and reliable equipment and processes.
Build and maintain links with Rolls-Royce foundries to scope projects for HTRC improvements.
