Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Financial Processes Manager to optimise cash flow, improve financial processes and drive business performance from our Newcastle base. You will lead cash, receivables and payables teams, delivering robust end-to-end processes and VAT control while partnering with key stakeholders.

You will leverage SAP and new technologies, enhance working capital, and contribute to broader financial excellence across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience optimizing cash and working capital.
• VAT management experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct line management of cash, AR and AP teams.
• Drive end-to-end process improvements across cash, AR and AP.
• Manage relationships with banking and card issuing partners.
• Ensure VAT obligations are robustly met.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations for related GL accounts.
• Support Finance and the business as required.
