Job summary

Aggreko plc in Glasgow is seeking a Global Process Expert for Cash & Banking to lead and standardise end-to-end processes across AP, AR, and Record to Report, ensuring robust controls and accurate cash visibility.

You will collaborate with ERP, IT and data teams to automate postings and reconciliations, support faster close, and drive finance transformation in a global matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cash and banking processes in a global or shared-services setting.
• Proven ability to standardise processes and drive finance transformation.
• Experience in regulated, audit-driven environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and banking tooling.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the global subject matter expert for end-to-end Cash & Banking processes, supporting the GPO in defining standard process design, controls, and documentation, ensuring alignment across AP, AR, and Record to Report.
• Define and maintain the global "one way of working" for Cash & Banking, including process maps, policies, standards, controls, RACIs, SLAs, and KPIs, ensuring consistent application and continuous refinement across all regions.
• Establish and enforce robust global Cash and Banking control standards (bank accounts, mandates, payments, connectivity), ensuring compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory changes, while maintaining audit-ready processes.
• Partner with ERP, IT, and Data teams to ensure systems support global process design; drive automation of cash postings, bank statement processing, and reconciliations; and implement connectivity and visibility platforms, aligning master data to finance architecture.
• Support timely and accurate bank reconciliations globally; promote continuous reconciliation to ease month-end pressure; conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues to ensure consistent cash balances for financial close.
• Act as a key contact for regional teams and Shared Services on Cash & Banking; support multi-year roadmaps for Faster Close and Finance Transformation; deliver training; lead process forums; and provide expert input for audits and transformation initiatives.
