Victim Support in South Wales is seeking a dedicated Caseworker for the Antisocial Behaviour team. The role combines home-based and on-site work at Llanrumney Police Station in Cardiff, with travel across the South Wales area to support victims and witnesses of crime.
You will develop tailored safety and support plans, contact victims by phone, coordinate with local partners, and maintain confidential case records using our bespoke management system.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caseworker to join our Antisocial Behaviour team.
This role is offered on a hybrid working model which allows for a mixture of working from home, outreach stations and our Victim Care Unit based at Llanrumney Police Station in Cardiff.
You will work as part of a team that covers the whole of South Wales and willprovide on-going support to the victims of ASB, ensuring that South Wales Victim Focus realises their aim of helping people cope and recover from the effects of being subjected to, or witnessing crime.
South Wales Victim Focus serves diverse communities, many of whom experience a range of barriers that may impact on their ability to cope and recover from what they have experienced. These can include financial distress; social isolation; reduced mobility; mental and physical health issues; substance use and lack of opportunity. South Wales Victim Focus aims to identify what matters to service users and empower them to take control of their journey.
This role involves regular travel in and around the South Wales area.

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by antisocial behaviour. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of antisocial behaviour. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime/antisocial behaviour on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

This role involves regular travel throughout South Wales and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.
