Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a Carpentry Lecturer for a mainstream college in Birmingham. The role covers Level 2 and Level 3 Carpentry with a blend of teaching and practical demonstrations to help students grasp trade skills.

The position is temporary, with full-time hours Mon-Thu and a pay rate of £35-40 per hour, reflecting market rates for teaching staff in Further Education.

• Experience teaching Carpentry or from an industry background.
• Ability to engage students of varying abilities to get the best out of them.

Job Title: Carpentry Lecturer
Campus: Bordsley Green

Hours: Full Time Monday - Thursday, will be paid for 22-24 Teaching Hours

We are looking for a Carpentry Lecturer who can support the college in both the level 2 and level 3 department on a tempory basis. If you have experience teaching or come from an industry background please do get in touch. This role will be a blend of teaching and demonstrating key industry skills to help the students understand the trade.
