Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream college in Birmingham seeking a Carpentry Lecturer to support Level 2 and Level 3 Carpentry courses on a temporary basis. The role involves delivering practical and theory sessions and engaging students of all abilities.

You will demonstrate industry skills, assess progress, and help students achieve in a well-equipped college environment rated GOOD by Ofsted. The post is full-time with a start as soon as possible and a rate of £40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Carpentry is preferred.
• Ability to connect with students of all abilities.
• Ability to lead demonstrations of industry skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Carpentry lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 students.
• Demonstrate key industry skills and supervise practical sessions.
• Assess and provide feedback to learners to support progression.
