Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry.
• Significant experience as a Carpenter in the building trade.
• Full UK driving licence and DBS check.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and record of safe working.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance in homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs from inspection to completion with excellent customer service.
• Coach, mentor and develop colleagues and apprentices.
• Assess competency and support End Point Assessments (EPA).
• Promote trade standards and best practice across teams.
• Support trade training with Learning & Development teams.
• Conduct audits and quality assessments for compliance.
• Act as technical expert and escalation point for carpentry queries.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
