Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd. has a permanent Carpenter Multi Trade role covering Huntingdon and Peterborough. You will join a dedicated repairs team working in occupied homes and void properties, carrying out carpentry and joinery tasks, including 2nd fix work, with a focus on high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ/City & Guild Carpentry, social housing experience, and a full UK driving licence to support multi-trade repairs across sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guild in Carpentry.
• Previous social housing experience.
• Experience as a Carpenter or Joiner.
• Multi-trade repair experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Join a well-established social housing contractor on a permanent contract working across Huntingdon and Peterborough. As a Carpenter Multi Trade, you'll be part of a dedicated repairs team working across occupied homes and void properties.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has worked as a Carpenter, Joiner or Multi Trade Operative within social housing.

As a Carpenter Multi Trade, you will be:

• Carrying out carpentry and joinery repairs
• Completing 2nd fix carpentry
• Carrying out minor multi-trade repairs
• Working across occupied and void properties
• Completing work to a high standard

The Carpenter Multi Trade role is offering:

• £37,500 per year plus £3,000 starting bonus
• Company van and fuel card
• 35 days annual leave including bank holidays
• Overtime opportunities
• Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 core hours
• Permanent, secure employment
• Consistent workload within your dedicated area

This role covers Huntingdon and Peterborough, working across occupied homes and void properties. A company van and fuel card are provided for work travel.
