Insignis is seeking an experienced Carpenter-Multi to join our Reactive Maintenance team. Based mainly in the Swindon/Wiltshire area, you will undertake 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, install windows/doors, UPVC servicing, locksmithing, and fencing tasks across our housing properties.

You will travel regularly, with a company van and fuel card provided. The role includes uniform, PPE, generous holiday allowance and a contributory pension.

Formación

• Experience in carpentry repairs in housing/residential sector preferred.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification accepted.
• Must have a full, clean driving licence with at least 2 years driving experience.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out carpentry repairs across properties as part of Reactive Maintenance.
• Perform 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks.
• Install windows, doors, frames, and UPVC components.
• Carry out locksmithing for entry where required.
• Complete fencing and joinery tasks as needed.
• Assist with kitchen fitting and minor joinery projects.

A client of mine who is a Large Housing Association and Property Maintenance Company are looking to Recruit an experienced Carpenter-Multi on a full time permanent basis to join their Reactive Maintenance in the Swindon/Wiltshire area. As you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road they will provide you with a van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket.

What you'll do:

As a Carpenter you will carry out all forms of carpentry repairs in our properties as part of our Reactive Maintenance and elsewhere depending on demands.

• 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry
• Install windows, doors, door frames - Internal and external.
• UPVC servicing and installation
• Locksmithing and gaining entry via lock snapping, drilling and picking.
• All types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
• Kitchen fitting, kitchen building and minor joinery.

What you'll need:

You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within a Residential/Housing sector and must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 OR have a minimum of 5 years proven track record working in carpentry.

Due to the requirement to travel, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years experience and have the ability to drive and take home a company van
