Insignis is seeking an experienced Carpenter-Multi to join a large Housing Association in the Blandford Forum area on a full-time permanent basis. You will travel using a company van and fuel card, with uniform and PPE provided.

Role covers 1st/2nd fix carpentry, window/door installation (internal/external), UPVC servicing, locksmithing, fencing, and kitchen work. NVQ Level 2 or 5+ years carpentry experience essential.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 Carpentry or 5+ years proven carpentry experience.
• Full driving licence with at least 2 years of driving experience and ability to drive and take home a company van.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out carpentry repairs in properties as part of Reactive Maintenance.
• Perform 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry tasks.
• Install windows, doors and door frames (internal and external).
• Service and install UPVC components.
• Locksmithing and gaining entry as required.
• Install and repair fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
• Kitchen fitting and minor joinery work.

A client of mine who is a Large Housing Association and Property Maintenance Company are looking to Recruit an experienced Carpenter-Multi on a full time permanent basis to join their Reactive Maintenance in the Blandford Forum area. As you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road they will provide you with a van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket.

What you'll do:

• As a Carpenter you will carry out all forms of carpentry repairs in our properties as part of our Reactive Maintenance and elsewhere depending on demands.
• 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry
• Install windows, doors, door frames - Internal and external.
• UPVC servicing and installation
• Locksmithing and gaining entry via lock snapping, drilling and picking.
• All types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
• Kitchen fitting, kitchen building and minor joinery.

What you’ll need:

You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within a Residential/Housing sector and must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 OR have a minimum of 5 years proven track record working in carpentry.

Due to the requirement to travel, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years experience and have the ability to drive and take home a company van.
