Job summary

Fortus Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Carpenter Multi to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties in Swindon and surrounding areas.

The role is mainly carpentry-focused with some multi-trade work, and you will work directly with residents to deliver high-quality joinery repairs and installations, including doors, skirting, kitchens, and general fixings across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi
• Strong carpentry and joinery background
• Experience carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance
• Own tools required
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Social housing or occupied property experience preferred

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter Multi to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties for an established maintenance contractor in Swindon and the surrounding areas.

The role will be mainly carpentry focused, with some multi-trade work involved. The successful candidate will be carrying out reactive repairs across occupied properties and will need to be comfortable working directly with residents.
