ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter on behalf of our client for a project based in Wareham, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor/developer. Successful candidates may be considered for further assignments through ITS Building People following completion of the project.

Qualifications

• CSCS/CPCS/NPORS card preferred or required where possible.
• Experience in a carpentry role on site.
• Own PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots) and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install carpentry elements on site.
• Read drawings and follow spec and safety rules.
• Work independently and as part of a carpentry team on site.

Requirements

• Valid [CSCS/CPCS/NPORS] Card but not always required
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Own PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis and Safety Boots)
• Relevant tools/equipment where required
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
