Job summary

ITS Building People are seeking a 2nd Fix Carpenter for a commercial project in Deal, Kent. You should have 2nd fix carpentry experience, own tools and transport, and be ready to start on 26/10/2026 for a 3-day assignment.

Carry out kitchen worktops, appliance cutouts, and read from technical drawings. You must work safely on site and adhere to site health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 2nd Fix carpentry experience on commercial projects.
• Valid CSCS/Card and safety awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 2nd fix carpentry work including kitchen worktops and appliance cutouts.
• Read and work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.

Job description:

2nd Fix Carpenter required for a commercial project. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking 2nd Fix Carpenter to assist our client with a project based in Deal, Kent. Own transport required.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Carry out 2nd fix carpentry including Kitchen Worktops & appliance Cutout
• Read and work accurately from technical drawings & specifications.
• Work safely and efficiently on construction sites, following all health and safety requirements

Requirements for the role

• Own tools & transport
• Previous Carpentry experience
• References upon request
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Training/Progression opportunities:

• There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
