Job summary

ITS Building People is seeking a skilled Carpenter for a residential project in Sheerness, Kent. Own transport is required and the role is temporary with a start date of 21/09/2026. The rate of pay is £22.50–£23.64 per hour, with a duration of 1 week.

Candidates should have a CSCS Card and at least 2 years of Carpenter experience. ITS Building People will provide some PPE or equipment as needed. Immediate start possible for the right candidate.

Job description:

Carpenter required for a residential project. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Carpenter to assist our client with a project based in Sheerness, Kent. Own transport required.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Carry out Carpentry including Signange & Skirting


• Work safely and efficiently on construction sites, following all health and safety requirements.


• Maintain good quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines and schedules.

Requirements for the role

• Own tools & transport


• Previous Carpentry experience


• References upon request


• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Training/Progression opportunities:

There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management

Rate of Pay

Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
