Job summary

SkyBlue Solutions is seeking a qualified Carpenter for immediate site work in Ipswich. You will perform carpentry tasks on site, read designs, and install shelves, cabinets, and drywall, while adhering to safety procedures and project specifications.

Applicants should have CSCS Blue or Gold Card and 4–5 years of carpentry experience, with right to work in the UK. Long-term opportunities and site mentoring available.

Qualifications

• CSCS Blue or Gold Card required.
• Minimum 4–5 years experience in carpentry.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Formwork/Carpentry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Using hand and power tools safely.
• Following strict site safety procedures.
• Measuring and preparing the site for woodwork.
• Designing and installing fitted wooden shelves, cabinets and drywall.
• Installing fixtures and fittings such as handles, locks and hinges.
• Reading and interpreting designs to meet architects' specs.

Rate: £24.14 (PAYE Only)

Location: Ipswich IP164EW

Overtime rate after 39 hours

Hours: 7:00am-18:00 12 days on 2 days off every other weekend off

Requirements

• CSCS Blue or Gold Card
• Have a minimum of 4-5 years
• Manual Handling
• Plant and Vehicle Marshall
• Experience in shuttering/formwork carpentry on large construction or civils projects
• Right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Formwork/Carpentry is desirableMain duties:
