Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking experienced Carpenters / Joiners for a long‑term, on‑site assignment in the OX17 area (Greatworth). You will follow project drawings and build to specification, maintaining safety and quality on a major construction and civil engineering project.

Expect competitive hourly rates (£21.45 base, £32.18 after 39 hours, £42.90 after 55 hours), weekly pay, lodge accommodation available and ongoing work on a landmark infrastructure scheme.

Qualifications

• Valid Blue CSCS card required.
• Previous carpentry / joinery experience.
• Construction or civil engineering experience.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Valid Safety Critical Medical.
• EKFB induction preferred.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and available for long-term work.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general carpentry and joinery duties across a major construction and civil engineering project.
• Complete carpentry and joinery work in line with project specifications and requirements.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans.
• Measure, mark out, cut and assemble materials accurately.
• Assist with formwork, shuttering and other relevant construction activities as required.
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Work alongside site supervisors, engineers and other trades to maintain progress.
• Follow site drawings, RAMS and daily work instructions.
• Carry out tasks in accordance with site health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Carpenter / Joiner - OX17 Area | Long-Term Opportunity

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced Carpenters / Joiners to work on a major construction and civil engineering project in the OX17 area, near Greatworth.

This is a long-term opportunity for skilled tradespeople with construction or civils experience, the ability to read and understand technical drawings, and a strong commitment to site safety and quality.

Location: OX17 Area - Greatworth Green Tunnel
Start Date: Monday 19th October 2026
Duration: Long-term, ongoing work

Your Role as a Carpenter / Joiner
