Job summary

RGM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced carpenter for an ongoing contract across multiple sites between Dartford and Bromley, covering 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, including stud walls, roofing, doors and finishing work.

The role requires reading drawings, working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines, and upholding high standards of workmanship and site safety. CSCS card and full UK driving licence with own tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
• CSCS Card held and valid.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own vehicle and tools for site work.
• Reliable and punctual with references.
• Ability to work across multiple sites between Dartford and Bromley.

• Completing 2nd fix carpentry, including doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens, ironmongery and final finishing works.

TYPE: 1st & 2nd Fix

LOCATION: Various sites between Dartford & Bromley

PAY RATE: £25.00 per hour

JOB TYPE: Ongoing Contract

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team, working across a variety of sites between Dartford and Bromley.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out high-quality 1st fix carpentry, including stud walls, joists, roofing, door linings and structural timber work.


• Completing 2nd fix carpentry, including doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens, ironmongery and final finishing works.


• Reading and interpreting drawings where required.


• Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.


• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience specialising in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.


• Valid CSCS Card (essential).


• Full UK driving licence.


• Own vehicle and tools required.


• PPE must be worn on site.


• Able to provide recent, relevant work references.


• Reliable, punctual and able to work across multiple sites between Dartford and Bromley.
