Job summary

Fortel is seeking experienced carpenters with shuttering/formwork expertise for major UK construction projects in Ipswich. You will follow strict safety procedures, read architectural designs, and measure and prepare sites for woodwork, installing shelves, cabinets and drywall with precision.

Candidates should have CSCS Blue/Gold, 4–5 years of site experience, and be eligible to work in the UK. Long-term opportunities, training, and HS2 induction may be offered.

Qualifications

• CSCS Blue or Gold Card
• Minimum of 4–5 years on site
• Plant and Vehicle Marshall
• Experience in shuttering/formwork carpentry on large construction or civils projects
• Right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Formwork/Carpentry is desirable
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Following strict site safety procedures
• Making measurements and preparing the site for woodwork
• Designing and installing fitted wooden shelves, cabinets and drywall
• Installing fixtures and fittings such as handles, locks and hinges
• Readings and interpreting designs to meet specifications set by Architects

Hours: 7:00am-18:00 12 days on 2 days off every other weekend off

Requirements
