PiLON Ltd is looking for experienced Carpenters to undertake Kitchen and Bathroom renewal projects in North West London. This role is geared towards self-employed carpenters seeking consistent work within the social housing sector. Responsibilities include kitchen fitting, installing units, fire doors, and collaborating with other trades to meet deadlines. Applicants should hold a CSCS card, possess experience in social housing, and preferably NVQ Level 2 qualification. A full UK driving licence is also necessary.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required to work on site.
• Experience in domestic/social housing is preferred.
• NVQ Level 2 desired for qualified carpentry.
• Familiarity with basic health and safety standards.
• Strong English communication skills to collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Fit kitchens and bathrooms in occupied properties.
• Install approx. 6–12 kitchen units per day.
• Upgrade door hinges and install fire doors.
• Work closely with other trades to ensure deadlines.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Carpenters for Kitchen and Bathroom renewal projects within the social housing sector across North West London. This role is ideal for self‑employed carpenters looking for steady, long‑term work on a well‑organised programme in occupied properties.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Kitchen fitting and Bathroom carpentry works
• Installing Kitchen units (approx. 6–12 units per day)
• Fitting worktops and worksurfaces
• Installing fire doors (door only, no frame)
• Upgrading door hinges and handles
• Installing architraves and skirting
• Installing bath frames and bath panels
• Installing plywood and wooden boxing
• Building stud walls
• Working alongside other trades to meet programme targets
