Job summary

Construction is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Carpenter for a social housing contractor on a temporary basis. You will carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance in occupied and void properties, delivering high workmanship and customer service.

You must have a recognised carpentry qualification, asbestos awareness, and a Basic DBS check, plus a full UK driving licence. You'll work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, and use a PDA system to update job information.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).
• Asbestos Awareness certification and Basic DBS Check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Complete associated multi-trade works as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach when working in residents' homes.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
• Accurately update job information using the provided PDA system.
• Work effectively to meet tight deadlines and performance targets.

MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Carpenter to join a Social Housing contractor covering on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will carry out repairs and maintenance works across both occupied and void properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
