Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking a caring Personal Assistant to support a young boy with a focus on home and community activities in Cardigan. The role involves 3.5 hours per week during term time and 6 hours per week during school holidays, with some evenings and weekends may be required.

You will help him access activities, build confidence and social opportunities, and work with his family to promote independence and choice.

Qualifications

• Patient, kind and dependable.
• Ability to work using a person-centred approach.
• Good knowledge of local activities and community opportunities would be beneficial.
• Experience with children and young people is preferred.
