Job summary

Blue Sky Brokers is seeking a caring female personal assistant to support a young boy with cerebral palsy in everyday activities. The role involves supervision, play, and helping with daily routines in a home setting.

The ideal candidate should be empathetic, patient, and able to engage in activities that promote learning and social interaction. DBS check will be funded; prior experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be caring and patient with a young child who has cerebral palsy.
• DBS check is required and will be funded by the council.
• Experience with children and disabilities is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Personal care such as bathing and changing.
• Getting dressed and preparing the child for the day.
• Feeding the child.
• Assisting with standing frame and use of equipment.
• Using and cleaning disability-related equipment.
• Stretching, playing and learning activities.
• Providing emotional support and accompanying appointments.
