Job summary

Blue Sky Brokers is seeking two Personal Assistants to support a sociable young man with Cerebral Palsy, a learning disability and epilepsy. Each PA will work 40 hours per week, with two PAs assisting together due to moving and handling requirements, to help access the community and daily activities in Alfreton.

Ideal candidates are caring, reliable and able to work collaboratively in a small team to enable safe mobility and social participation.

Qualifications

• Two Personal Assistants (PAs) required to support a young man with Cerebral Palsy, learning disability and epilepsy.
• Support is delivered by two people together due to moving and handling requirements.
• Role involves 40 hours per week and engagement in community activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing personal and social support throughout the week.
• Work with a second PA for moving and handling assistance.
• Support outdoor activities, visits to parks and cafés, and community access.
