Job summary

Blue Sky Brokers is seeking a Female Personal Assistant to support a 9-year-old boy with complex needs in Salford. The role requires constant 1:1 care at home and in the community, with strict safety supervision due to high-risk behaviours. Weekend hours are included, and transport by taxi to school is required.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, confident, proactive, and capable of staying calm under pressure while building a trusting relationship with the family and the child.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a child with high support needs.
• Capable of managing risk and unpredictable behaviours.
• Able to provide 1:1 care at home and in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support at home and in the community.
• Ensure child's safety, wellbeing, and engagement in activities.
• Monitor high-risk behaviours and maintain doors locked for safety.
• Assist with meals, toileting, and personal care.
• Support transportation including taxi travel to and from school.
