Job summary

Alfred H Knight in Liverpool, UK, is seeking a Cargo Superintendent to supervise cargo discharge/loadings and monitor client storage locations. The role includes sampling and sample preparation duties as part of the Drax contract team, with a flexible shift pattern of 182 hours per month.

Travel between AHK locations and occasional overnight stays are required. Ideal candidates will have shipping/ports sector experience, excellent communication and IT skills, strong organisational abilities, and

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Cargo Superintendent to join the team in Liverpool, UK.

The Cargo Superintendent’s main focus is to oversee the discharge (or loading) of cargoes, monitoring / auditing client storage locations and working as part of the Drax contract team to undertake cargo sampling (both mechanical and manual) and sample preparation duties.

Shift Pattern - 182 hours per month which could fall on any day of the week on a flexible shift working rota.

• The role requires flexibility to work in various locations, including overnight stays when necessary.
