Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking a shift supervisor to efficiently manage and engage staff to meet customer airline targets while adhering to company policies and procedures.

The role covers controlling shift activities, producing detailed handling reports, cost control on labour and equipment, and leading teams across warehouse, ramp and office to maximise productivity. The position requires 5+ years in Cargo operations and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management in a 24/7 cargo operation.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to plan staffing and resources under fluctuating demand.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitoring of the shift and work activities.
• Produce accurate handling reports for customers and senior management.
• Maintain cost control on labour and equipment during shifts.
• Lead staff across warehouse, ramp, and office to maximise productivity.
• Monitor sickness and conduct interviews per disciplinary procedures.
• Ensure health & safety, training and quality standards are upheld.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure smooth Reception operations.
• Oversee site security in line with regulatory requirements.
