The Role:
The Facilities Operative will carry out general maintenance and temporary repairs to property, fixtures and fittings and to ensure the security of the premises, together with its contents. You will be expected to work flexibly across all of the College campuses and with working shift patterns. The Facilities Operative will be required to attend in cases of emergency call-outs e.g. flood, fire, intruders and take such action as required (e.g. marshalling etc).

£14,311 - 15,579 per annum

The shift pattern includes evenings, weekends and shifts between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm
You will also be required to participate in the on-call rota, please note you will receive additional remuneration to be on stand‑by and for call‑outs.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and temporary repairs to property, fixtures and fittings.
Support the security of College premises, including opening, closing and site checks as required.
Respond to facilities‑related issues across College sites, ensuring a safe and well‑maintained environment for learners, staff and visitors.
Work flexibly with the Facilities team to provide cover across sites, including satellite sites, in line with service needs.
