Job summary

Virtu Property in Swansea is seeking a hands-on Facilities Assistant to support our residential cleaning and maintenance operations. You will handle daily cleaning of communal spaces, waste management, light maintenance tasks, and customer service for residents.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of communal spaces
• Manage and monitor waste across developments and complete bin runs
• Liaise with Local Authority waste collections as needed
• Health & Safety compliance including regular system testing
• Report maintenance requirements to the Property Manager after site inspections
• Maintain communal areas such as bin stores, car parks, cycle stores
• Fob & key management
• Replace lightbulbs where necessary
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents
• Ensure enquiries and repair issues meet service levels
• Ensure building is safe for living and working and managed per procedures
• Complete meter readings as required

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning of communal spaces
• Manage and monitor waste throughout development, complete statutory bin runs, making sure all bins are available for emptying
• Effectively liaise with the Local Authority of Waste Management Collections as and when required
• Health & Safety compliance - to include regular system testing where required
• Conduct daily site inspections and report maintenance requirements and any other issues to the Property Manager
• Ensure communal areas, such as bin stores, car parks, cycle stores are maintained and well kept
• Fob & key management
• Replacement of lightbulbs where necessary
• Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable customer service to residents
• Ensure all enquires and repairing issues are dealt with in line with agreed service levels
• Ensure building is a safe environment in which to live and work and that it is managed in accordance with procedures
• Complete meter readings as and when required
