About The Role

Lime Tree Care Home is looking for a Caretaker with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. You’ll need technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as ideally some IT skills. When communicating with residents or co-workers, you should be considerate and kind.

Your responsibilities include ensuring the home is proactively inspected and well-maintained, carrying out audits, keeping records up to date, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating. Safeguarding is crucial, and you must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the procedures for reporting concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training.
