About The Role

Lime Tree Care Home is seeking a Caretaker with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

The Caretaker will ensure that residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness at the forefront.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. The candidate must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
