Job summary

Ver tas Group in Heanor is seeking a Caretaker for the Facilities Team at Heanor Children's Centre. The role covers waste management, porterage, light decorating, maintenance and cleaning, with uniform provided. Hours are 15 per week across weekdays, with DBS and children’s barred list checks required, and references and health clearance as applicable.

The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and high cleaning standards in a busy community centre.

A Caretaker is needed in the Facilities Team of Vertas Group at Heanor Children's Centre. The work covers waste management, porterage, light decorating, maintenance and cleaning, keeping the building clean and in good repair. Hours are 15 a week, split between weekday early mornings and early evenings, across the whole year, with uniform supplied. An enhanced DBS check and children's barred list check are needed, and cautions and convictions must be declared.
