Job summary

Sanctuary Group is looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our Kingsmead team. You will provide a maintenance service by undertaking caretaking and general cleaning of communal areas, with a focus on high-quality service and customer care.

The role requires experience in cleaning or caretaking, and a commitment to health and safety, teamwork, and adjusting to residents' needs. The salary is £29,912 to £31,486 per year for 40 hours per week, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role or completing similar tasks.
• Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery.
• Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Good communication and customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Grounds maintenance tasks to include litter picking and general upkeep.
• Working with customers and responding positively to resolve issues and improve services.
• Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed.
• Carrying out Health and Safety inspections and reporting necessary repairs.
• Complying with relevant policies and be Health and Safety orientated.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition.
• Ensuring all supplies and stocks are ordered.

Caretaker

£29,912 - £31,486 per year

We have an opportunity for a Caretaker to join our team in Kingsmead. As a Caretaker you will be responsible for providing a maintenance service by undertaking caretaking and general cleaning of communal areas. The ideal candidate will have either cleaning or caretaking experience and a track record of delivering high quality services, demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and high levels of customer service.

The role of Caretaker will include:

• Grounds maintenance tasks to include litter picking and general upkeep
• Working with customers and responding positively to resolve issues and improve services
• Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
