Job summary

Warwickshire College Group in Royal Leamington Spa is seeking a Careers and Progression Adviser to join our Royal Leamington Spa team on a permanent basis. The role can be part-time or full-time (37 hours) and is term-time (40 weeks).

You will provide impartial guidance to FE/HE students and support UCAS, events and progression planning. The successful candidate will have Careers Advice and Guidance qualifications or be prepared to work towards them, with DBS checks completed and full training

Qualifications

• Experience in careers guidance and advice.
• Willingness to work towards careers guidance qualifications.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide careers advice and guidance to FE and HE students and prospective students.
• Support Gatsby Benchmarks implementation.
• Conduct one-to-one interviews, drop-ins, e-guidance and telephone guidance.
• Assist with UCAS process and higher education applications.
• Plan events and workshops to support progression and employability.
• Collaborate with staff to support student recruitment and progression.
