Job summary

Warwick College Group seeks a part-time Careers and Progression Adviser for its Royal Leamington Spa campus. The role is term-time only (40 weeks) with 29.5 hours/week. Salary ranges £19,245.87–£21,140.21 pro rata, depending on Level 6 qualifications.

The successful candidate will join a proactive Careers Team, supporting students with informed career choices, pathways to college, university, jobs, and apprenticeships, and contributing to progression initiatives.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent.
• A Level 6 qualification in careers advice and guidance or willingness to work towards it.
• Full training and support provided to obtain required qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide careers advice and guidance to FE and HE students and potential students.
• Support Gatsby Benchmarks implementation across the college.
• Conduct impartial one-to-one interviews, drop-in sessions, e-guidance and telephone guidance.
• Support the UCAS process for Higher Education applications.
• Organise career events such as inductions and fairs to build industry links.
• Deliver careers education workshops acrossLevels 1–6 focusing on employability and progression.
